We are currently looking for new Member and Parent Governors and would be delighted to hear from anyone who is interested. Please see attached information: Governor Vacancies
Chauncy School is committed to safeguarding children and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We expect all governors to share this commitment.
Checks will be carried out to ensure candidate suitability to work with children and young people. This will include a mandatory check of List 99 and/or the protection of Children Act List.
All governorships of schools are exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and candidates will be asked to declare any convictions, cautions or reprimands, warnings or bind-overs which they have incurred. This includes any that would have been regarded as “spent” in other circumstances.
Successful candidates will be asked to provide Enhanced DBS Disclosures.
If you have any questions concerning our appointments process and/or our Safeguarding Practices you should contact Susan Browning who is our Admin Manager. You may choose to contact Sarah Davies who is our Designated Officer for Child Protection. Both may be contacted at the school on 01920 411200.
