Govenor Vacancies – January 2017

Chauncy School is committed to safeguarding children and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We expect all governors to share this commitment.

Checks will be carried out to ensure candidate suitability to work with children and young people. This will include a mandatory check of List 99 and/or the protection of Children Act List.

All governorships of schools are exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and candidates will be asked to declare any convictions, cautions or reprimands, warnings or bind-overs which they have incurred. This includes any that would have been regarded as “spent” in other circumstances.

Successful candidates will be asked to provide Enhanced DBS Disclosures.
