BACK TO SCHOOL – SEPTEMBER 2023

We hope you are enjoying the summer break and are looking forward to the new academic year which starts next week.

RETURN TO SCHOOL DATES:

Year Seven and Year Twelve students will return to school on Tuesday 5th September 2023.

Year Seven 8:15 am Clubs will start on Tuesday 5th September 2023.

Years Eight, Nine, Ten, Eleven and Thirteen will return on Wednesday 6th September 2023. New timetables are now available via Edulink.

Period One on Tuesday 5th and Wednesday 6th will be a tutor period with form tutors.

SITE SECURITY IMPROVEMENTS

We have made our school site more secure over the summer and we now have automatic locking gates at the front of the school and improved security fencing around the school perimeter.

The front gates will close at 8:50 am. and re-open at 3:30 pm. As lessons start at 8:50 am this should not be a problem for anyone.

Those students who are offsite to attend medical appointments, interviews, etc. will need to use the intercom near the school entrance. We now have a digitised sign-in system for anyone who arrives after registers have been taken at 8:50 a.m. Students must report to reception to access digital sign-in. PLEASE EMPTY LOCKERS

We still have lockers padlocked up with items left inside. We really need to give them a deep clean. To allow us to do this we would like students to come in and empty their locker if they haven’t already. The school will be open from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm on Tuesday to Friday this week.
