Year Eight MFL Spelling Bee

One student from each form volunteered to learn the French words and a second student learnt the Spanish. No mean feat when there were over 80 words on the list! The students then stood up on the stage in front of the rest of the year group and had to spell out words correctly. Everyone who volunteered did extremely well and showed a lot of courage. In the end it was a tight race with Maya Hirica 8 Pine winning from the French students and Eva Smith 8 Oak winning the Spanish . Eva was the overall winner and Oak the winning form. A big thank you to the Year Ten Language leaders for practising with the students and running the event today.
