THINKING ABOUT TEACHING, BUT NO DEGREE…

Around 40 of our teachers trained with us.
I believe the consistency this brings plays a significant part in our success. A small number ended their formal education at 16 or 18 and teaching is a graduate-only profession.
Some people who might make superb teachers will be deterred by the £40,000 debt lots of graduates have incurred. However,
All schools can employ unqualified teachers who have the skills, knowledge and understanding to teach well.
We can also employ unqualified teachers and guide them through the route to being qualified teachers. This may take a few years and does involve hard work and perseverance.
Three of our teachers earned a degree lever qualification and qualified teacher status, debt-free, in under 4 years whilst working, and being paid, as an unqualified teacher.
