LUKE RECEIVES YOUNG PEOPLE’S AWARD

Year Twelve student Luke Higgans has been awarded with a Young People’s Award by Hertfordshire Council in recognition of his contribution to charity fundraising over the summer. Luke coordinated a committed group of National Citizens Service volunteers to raise over £500 for the Royal National Institute of Blind People in August 2016 by hosting a Summer Fete at Chauncy School and a Sponsored Blind Walk through Ware. Well done to Luke and all the young volunteers involved in the project.
