JUST CHAMPION!
Congratulations to Chauncy sixth form student Amy Liddiard, who is now a FIFA Women’s Champions Cup winner!
Amy was part of the Arsenal Women squad that played in this inaugural tournament, beating Corinthians from Brazil 3-2 in the final game, played at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, 1st February.
The tournament featured the champion clubs from each of the six continental confederations, playing each other in a single-elimination bracket, to determine the world’s premier women’s club team.
