Welcome
My name is Miles Ambler and I am the Chair of Governors, here at Chauncy School.
The Governing Body and I work in partnership with the headteacher, senior leadership team and all the staff, to support the exceptional work that takes place and continue moving the school forward, in line with Chauncy school’s vision, ethos and culture.
Many of the Governors are parents of children at the school or who have attended the school. We cover a range of skills, experiences and backgrounds, which allows for every Governor to play their part in the strategic framework of the school.
Chauncy is an outstanding secondary school, with excellent exam results and outcomes, across an ambitious, broad and varied curriculum, with a real passion for ensuring all pupils achieve well, whatever their abilities on joining the school.
