CHAUNCY WORLD CUP 2026

The Football World Cup came to Chauncy. Two tournaments were run and we saw some fantastic football.

Congratulations to Year 7 Germany who were crowned champions after a hard fought match vs Year 7 Brazil. Germany won the game with a stunning penalty rifled into the top corner.

In the Year 9 & 10 World Cup final there was a thrilling finish as Norway and Egypt battled all the way to penalties. Both teams showed incredible determination, skill and resilience in a closely contested match, but it was Egypt who held their nerve in the shootout to claim the title.

Well done to all teams, we hope you enjoyed the tournaments.
