CHAUNCY SCHOOL MARCH UPDATE – 1ST MARCH 2026
A monthly review of February at Chauncy School with Headteacher Steve Walton. This month, we update you on our new ‘Never Seen \ Never Heard’ mobile phone policy, Year Ten Work Shadowing Week, a school INSET Day on Friday 6th March 2026, Hertford and Ware & District Foodbank Easter Egg Appeal, outstanding Year Seven Shakespeare presentations in English, Flooding in Geography and a Translation Challenge in French, Scientist of the Month results for December, January and February, Artist of the Month results for February, GCSE, A Level, and BTEC Art & Technology work on display in our gallery, Year Twelve students making pancakes, an amazing school production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, a Year Eleven Loyalty Card update, Chauncy Awards for February, an attendance review and a busy sports report including swimming and swimming pool news, Saracens success for our Year Seven Rugby team, LVSSA Indoor Athletics results, a FIFA Women’s Champions Cup winner for Sixth former Amy, a round up of girls’ football, netball and basketball results.
This month’s Friday Sessions Artists are Esme and Bethany, performing a song written by Esme called ‘February’.
