CHAUNCY’S CHARITY HALLOWEEN DASH – THURSDAY 22ND OCTOBER 2026

What an amazing afternoon. We had students and staff in all manner of fancy Halloween dress, out in the Autumn sunshine participating in our Charity Halloween Dash to raise money for former student Jaimee Sharp, in the hope that she can receive pioneering treatment for an incurable form of brain cancer.

As well as the Halloween Dash, a mile run, walk or jog organised by our Sixth Form Student Leaders, we had live music from our house bands Kabow! and Wizzard, keeping us entertained throughout. The Halloween Dash raised over £2,500 today, and our cake sale at breaktime raised a further £500, bringing the total to over £3,000 at the time of writing.

We had a prize raffle too, and we will be announcing the winners of the draw later today via Edulink. Many thanks to Van Hage (Blue Diamond), Tesco, Mulligan’s Golf, Edge Outdoors and Ware2Swim for donating prizes for our raffle.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to and participated in this fundraiser, a real community effort. Well done!
