Year 9s have a blast!

We were delighted to welcome Wonderstruck to Chauncy to host an action-packed day of science, engineering and teamwork.
The day blasted off with an exciting science show all about forces, featuring explosions, loud bangs and plenty of surprises along the way! Students then put their engineering skills to the test by designing and building fan-powered cars before competing in a tournament-style race.

But the excitement didn’t stop there. In the afternoon, students built and launched rockets across the back field, bringing a spectacular end to a fantastic day of hands-on learning.
