WE’RE GOING TO NEED A BIGGER TROPHY CABINET – YEAR EIGHT ARE LVSSA DISTRICT BASKETBALL CHAMPIONS 2025.

Congratulations to our Year Eight Boys’ Basketball Team, who were crowned LVSSA District Champions this afternoon. In a fast-paced and entertaining game, Chauncy beat Simon Balle School 31-13, having made a strong start and commanding a 6-0 lead after the first quarter. Simon Balle rallied to get back to 8-8 in the second quarter before Chauncy shifted gear in the match’s second half, combining excellent work rate, regimented organisation in defence and clinical finishing around the basket.

Christian Krauss was the game’s top scorer with 16 points, headlining a magnificent team effort with outstanding contributions from everyone involved today.

A huge well done to all of the boys who have represented our Year Eight team this year!
