WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!

Congratulations to our Under 13 Year Eight boys’ football team, who have just won the Hertfordshire District Cup.

Chauncy took an early lead, but a talented Goff’s side equalised in the first half. Chauncy pulled away in the second half with three well-worked team goals. Goff’s created some excellent chances, but Chauncy defended in number, and goalkeeper Christian Krauss’s handling was perfect. A controlled performance ensured a victory on a big pitch against a physically strong opponent. Goals came from Arthur Brown (2) and James Yoxall (2), with Ebube Onwordi picking up the Player of the Match Award. A fantastic effort from all involved. Well done boys!
