Student Logbook Entry – Friday 24th July 2015 by Nathan Piggott

Yesterday at Survival Geography we made a trip to Harlow Outdoor Centre to take part in four activities – River Bumble, Kayaking, Mountain Boarding and Rock Climbing. The first activity my group did was the Kayaking. It was really exciting although the water was freezing and I fell in twice! The next activity was the Bumble and it was good fun and I got to ride a giant surfboard. Next one of the dry activities which turned out to be the muddiest was Mountain Boarding. It was so fun because everyone got extremely muddy. Last but not least was Rock Climbing. It was really scary at first but I managed to get to the top of the wall a few times.

Today I have learned:

1 How to use a paddle in Kayaking

2 How to Rock Climb

3 How to Mountain Board
