Initial Letter – 10.05.2021
Chauncy School – Transition Summer School – Monday 26th to Friday 30th July 2021
Chauncy School hopes to run a transition summer school for all Year Six students joining us in Year Seven in September 2021.
Our Summer School will run from Monday 26th to 30th July 2021.
Our Summer School will run from 8.50am until 3.15pm each day and there will be a full programme of activities that will include literacy, numeracy, art, sport, science, humanities, languages, technology, team building and bonding activities.
It will be the perfect opportunity for students to meet new staff, make new friends and get to know the school.
We will be using the full range of facilities at the school to enable students to familiarise themselves with Chauncy before they start in September 2021.
We will also be offering a lunchtime meal service similar to what students can expect in September.
Places on our summer school are funded by the Department for Education, however we do ask parents to formally book a place so we can plan activities, meals and staffing appropriately.
Please complete this simple form to let us know if you can attend the transition summer school:
