Chauncy School hopes to run a transition summer school for all Year Six students joining us in Year Seven in September 2022.
Our Summer School will run from Monday 25th to Friday 29th July 2022.
Our Summer School will run from 8.50 am until 3.15 pm each day and there will be a full programme of activities that will include literacy, numeracy, art, sport, science, humanities, languages, technology, team-building and bonding activities.
It will be the perfect opportunity for students to meet new staff, make new friends and get to know the school.
We will be using the full range of facilities at the school to enable students to familiarise themselves with Chauncy before they start in September 2022.
Students attending the summer school will need to bring a pencil case, a water bottle and a packed lunch \ snacks each day. There is no need to wear school uniform.
Places on our summer school will be funded by Chauncy School, so there will be no charge, however, we will be asking parents to formally book a place so we can plan activities and staffing appropriately. To book a place at the summer school, please complete this simple online form.
