ROUNDERS RECORD FOR SUPER SENIORS!
This afternoon, the Senior District Rounders Tournament was played at Presdales School. Our Chauncy girls’ team faced six other schools in strong competition.
Chauncy batted strongly in the group stages, finishing top of their group. They faced hosts Presdales School in the final, and after some excellent fielding from Lily Martin and some outstanding batting from Georgia Yoxall, Chauncy took the win 9.5 – 4.5. The girls didn’t lose a game throughout the tournament
This is this team’s FIFTH District Rounders title in as many years! A marvellous achievement in this wonderful year of sporting success for Chauncy School.
