Work Shadowing Week 29th February – 4th March 2016 – Year 10 Students

In Year 10 all students are offered the chance of work shadowing for one week.  This is an essential part of the school curriculum that puts the skills learned in class into context for the student.  Work shadowing consists of students observing work positions they may be interested in for the future and experiencing what a working week could be like.

15.10.2014: Friday Fundraiser – Great Ormond Street Hospital

We are going to support Great Ormond Street Hospital this October with two fund raising events. On Friday 24th October we will have a Halloween Cake Sale at break time. Students can bake cakes, biscuits, cookies and confectionary which will be sold to students and staff with all proceeds going to the GOSH charity.

On the afternoon of Friday 24th October we are going to have a Sponsored Zombie Dash where students and staff can bring in Halloween costumes or fancy dress and participate in a sponsored run, jog or walk around a circuit within the school grounds. There is a £1.00 charge per person to participate in this fun event. There is also a sponsorship form available so people can raise additional funds. Periods 1 – 4 will be as normal, students can change into costumes at lunchtime and the event will take place during Period 5. Students will leave school at the normal time of 3.35pm.
