CHAUNCY WEEKEND REVIEW – 17TH MAY 2025
A brief review of the Chauncy School week with Steve Walton (Headteacher).
This week, we update you on the Year Nine Duke of Edinburgh weekend, Junior UK Mathematics Challenge results, practical learning in Year Ten Psychology and Science, Year Nine Media projects using Canva, fun speaking activities in Year Ten Spanish, Owen Malyon completing his Young Reporters Scheme course, an attendance update, a review of this week’s Chauncy Awards and our weekly Sports Report which features rounders action, Athletics Club and a success for junior golfer Luca Lancaster.
No Friday Sessions this week as the Hall is being used for GCSE and A Level examinations and the rest of the school has to be very, very quiet. So we have a song from the Chauncy archives, Stick Season by Noah Kahan, performed brilliantly by Lucy Pinnington at last summer’s Chauncy Rocks.
