CHAUNCY ROCKS 2025
Chauncy celebrated an outstanding year for music and performance with an amazing show last night. Starting with an acoustic set in the Drama Studio and concluding with a powerful rendition of “Sweet Child O’ Mine” in the finale, our talented performers were courageous, confident, and energetic, entertaining their appreciative audience for over three hours. Many thanks to everyone who contributed to another successful Chauncy Rocks, including the Music Department staff for organising the event, the Friends of Chauncy School for running the barbecue and the Chauncy staff who served refreshments throughout the evening. Thanks too, to students Owen, Alex and Michael, who provided a stunning light and sound arrangement, giving us an incredible visual and aural experience throughout the night.
Taking centre stage are our wonderful students, though. For some, it was a nerve-jangling debut on the stage, for others, an emotional final performance after seven years of music at Chauncy. Thank you one and all, for a great night.
