YEAR NINE CAREERS CAROUSEL – FRIDAY 29TH JANUARY 2016

Year 9 students participated in a Careers Carousel on Friday and had the opportunity to meet representatives from different areas to find out more about their job. Students had spent time studying different career families based on the subjects they enjoy and with a little help from Kudos, an online career guidance and information programme, were able to select 4 different careers to visit.  37 volunteers from areas including police, banking, electrical, pharmaceutical, photography, graphic design, engineering, the construction industry to name but a few gave up their valuable time and with their help students thoroughly enjoyed the morning and found it very informative.  Our thanks go out to all volunteers for coming along and helping make it a success.
