Fearless Friday – Year 11 Maths Event at Half Term

Want to walk into the Maths Paper 2 exam on Thursday 9th June with an edge over the thousands of other students taking the same exam up and down the country?

The Maths Department will be running a special revision morning in between the Paper 1 (non-calc) and Paper 2 (calc) exams.

FEARLESS FRIDAY

Friday 3rd June 2016 (Half Term)

9am – Midday

Maths Block, M1 – M6

We have an amazing opportunity to raise your individual achievement at GCSE Maths by working on the topics and skills that did not appear in Paper 1 – many of which will appear in Paper 2.  Your Maths teachers will put together packs of resources to carefully target these areas and run sessions based upon these during the morning.  This is as smart as revision gets.

Last year the event was attended by over 100 students (that was a Saturday) and it had a huge impact on their success.  The average student met or exceeded their target grade, allowing them to take courses at school / college that would have otherwise been closed to them.

**Miss Williams’ class have their revision session on Wednesday 1st June, 9am – midday.
