External Examinations 2019

The main summer season for GCSE and GCE external written exams will begin on Monday 13th May 2019.  Coursework deadlines, practical and controlled assessments will be taking place between March and May so students should check with their subject tutors.

Individual exam timetables have now been posted home to all students for the summer 2019 exam season. It is very important that candidates read their exam schedules carefully as they may have clashes. Students with exam clashes will need to contact the exams office in order to discuss their options as soon as possible.

A copy of the centre timetable for all GCE and GCSE exams being held at Chauncy are available here.

Information for Candidates 2018 – 2018

Certificates for the Summer 2019 season will be available for collection from the exams office at the end of October.

They must be signed for

  • Friends or relatives may collect and sign for certificates on a candidates behalf provided they bring a letter of authorisation with them.
  • Current students can collect their certificates directly from the Exams Office.

Unclaimed Certificates

For students that have now left the school, please be aware that we are only required to keep these certificates for one year from their date of issue – so don’t forget them!

Many students (both current and leavers) have still not collected their certificates from summer 2018 or earlier years. Please remember that these are vital documents as they are the only proof of exam results.

If you don’t remember receiving your certificates, please get in touch with us – they may still be here in our archives. We will keep them here for a while, after which they will be returned to the exam board for shredding!
