Back To School

Just a reminder that the Autumn term starts with 8.15am Clubs for Year Seven students on Tuesday 3rd September 2019. We will direct all Year Seven students to the relevant rooms upon their arrival.

Year 12 students also start at 8.50am on Tuesday 3rd September 2019, please meet in the 6th Form Centre.

Years 8, 9, 10 and 11 will start back at 8.50am on Wednesday 4th September 2019, please go to your tutor room.

Year 13 will start back at 8.50am on Wednesday 4th September 2019, please meet in the 6th Form Centre.

As many parents and carers will be purchasing uniform this week, may I remind you of our uniform code at Chauncy School:

Boys Uniform

• Black school blazer with embroidered badge or Chauncy leaf embroidered patch sewn onto blazer pocket
• Green Chauncy House tie
• Plain white collared shirt
• Optional plain white polo shirt or Chauncy polo shirt with embroidered School Logo (in summer term only)
• Plain black trousers, (not leggings, denim, cord or jean style).
• Plain black v-neck sweater (optional)
• Outdoor coat not a sports or hooded top.
• Plain black flat heeled polishable shoes, no sports logos, no boots, trainers, canvas, fabric or plimsolls.

Sportswear:

• Black and emerald long sleeve reversible top
• Black polo shirt
• Black shorts
• Black and emerald socks
• Plain white socks
• Trainers (to be worn for PE ONLY)

Girls Uniform

• Black school blazer with embroidered badge or Chauncy leaf embroidered patch sewn onto blazer pocket
• Green Chauncy House tie
• Plain white collared blouse
• Optional plain white polo shirt or Chauncy polo shirt with embroidered School Logo (in summer term only)
• Plain black skirt, (knee length) or plain black trousers, not leggings, denim, cord or jean style.
• Plain black tights are permitted.
• Plain black v-neck sweater (optional)
• Plain topcoat not a sports or hooded top.
• Plain black flat heeled polishable shoes, no sports logos, no boots, trainers, canvas, fabric or plimsolls.

Sportswear:

• Black and emerald sports hoodie top
• Black polo shirt
• Black shorts
• Black and emerald socks
• Plain white socks
• Trainers (to be worn for PE ONLY)

Plain black flat heeled polishable shoes, no sports logos, no boots, trainers, canvas, fabric or plimsolls.

Students who arrive at school without aspects of their uniform will attend a 15 minute uniform detention. School plimsolls are available from the Pastoral Office for those students who do not have correct footwear.

To cut down on plastic waste we now ask that students bring a reusable water bottle to school. We have five new water coolers that can be used to fill water bottles at break and lunchtime. We will also be selling 500ml sports water bottles from the Finance Office for £1.50.
